It's not as bad as it looks. The black stuff isn't ground-in dirt. It's carbon fibre. "Happiness is a hand-held sail" - Wayler Windsurfing circa 1980

It's usually sold with auto supplies, as it's first marketed use was for sealing gas tanks. I think you can get it at Canadian Tire and maybe cheaper at WalMart. Yes, it's very useful for quick fixes on any type of board (won't melt epoxy or polysester resins), After about a year it gets a bit brittle and you have to re-do it, but it's cheap and effective.

Brian - Where can I buy Seal-All in Vancouver? Looks easy to use for small dings. I'll have to pick up some Marine Tex for this job. It's still work in progress but it's enough to get me back on the water. The nose damaged last year after hitting a log at Centennial. It only started to seriously de-laminate on Monday. Surprisingly it hasn't taken in much water.

I'm hoping you added a tube of SealAll to the job, or MarineTexed it. These epoxy boards are hydrophylic you know (aka act like a sponge if they get near water!).

Hah! Hopefully the screwhead is nice and smooth so your new wetsuit doesn't get all torn up when you go over the handlebars! "Happiness is a hand-held sail" - Wayler Windsurfing circa 1980
